ASHIKO DRUMS
These drums are mid eastern single headed Hand Drums. Ashiko drums were originally
developed in the 19th century. Ashiko drums are constructed with staves,
similar to many barrels.
Ashiko drums have a remarkable tonal range - deep, resonant Bass tones
and crisp, clean High tones. Ashiko drums offered here are made of
rosewood from Pakistan and mango wood from India.
